An introductory post

Hi everybody-

I’ve been following this forum for quite a while now and have taken several good ideas from the posts, so I figure it’s time for me to share what I’ve been trying to do. This weekend I finally moved the metro shelf with the acrylic and pvc cages into my apartment. The picture skews the size a bit, the shelf is 6’x2x6’. It took an embarrassing amount of time to make all of these and I messed up far more than I did right, but now that they’re all up and running, I’m pretty happy with them. I’d only done very minor woodwork and no work with plastic before I started building my reptile cages. The top six will house my GTPs and ATBs and the bottom two will house my scrubs. Comments, criticisms and suggestions are very welcome – thanks for looking.

Awesome cages!! Those look incredible...very nice work. I love seeing homemade cages and racks...especially ones like yours that look very eye-appealing and functional.

How hard was it to work with the acrylic?

Also, could you show some pictures of those wooden cages you have as well.

Thanks for sharing!
