Retained Egg

barker109 Jun 22, 2006 01:14 AM

I was wondering if anyone has had this happen. One of my females layed a clutch about 2 weeks ago. I noticed she still wasn't eating well or putting her weight back on. I felt around on her lower abdomen and felt what I'm relately sure is a retained egg. I've soaked her and done a few other things with no results. A vet is in order I know! Has anyone else had this type of experience and what was the outcome? Thanks to anyone that has info.
Take care,
Karen Barker
