Laying problems?

squillaci7 Jun 22, 2006 01:37 AM

My female is due about now. Yesterday she dug a hole but left it open. Today she dug around some more and even filled in the hole from yesterday but still no eggs. I leave her completely alone and she does not see me. Is this normal? I don't think the laying medium is too moist because when I sqeeze it no moisture comes out but it is still damp enough to carve out a tunnel without it collapsing. She has not laid the eggs yet because her weight is still the same but it's clear that she has eggs because you can see and feel them in her.

Sounds all normal to me. She will dig a few test holes, thats normal. She knows what to do, and it sounde like you have everything correct.
