Question for Chris Foley

P_Reticulatus Jun 22, 2006 05:09 PM

Chris,

I was wondering if you are certain the Scrub you sold me is a female. Did you probe her? I was just making sure because I am on the market to pair her up.

Thanks,
Nick

Regardless of his answer, probe it yourself or have someone recheck for you, I have purchased more than one snake over the years improperly sexed, no one is perfect and if pairing her up, I would check the sex before you invest money in any project, imagine pairing her up and growing them up for 3-5 years and then finding out they are the same sex, it would annoy you, don't you think?

Nick,

She was sold to me as definite female. I backed it up myself, HOWEVER I am not the best when it comes to probing. I am confident in her being a female Like Frank said though, I would definitely have it rechecked, just to be safe, especially when making a breeding investment.

On another note, I am glad she is doing well for you! She was definitely my favorite scrub, and I regret selling her to a certain extent...but shes in good hands.
