P. guttatus/L. calligaster hybrid

Hi!

This is my first post on these forums, I'm a snake keeper from Poland.
My female cornsnake had succesfully mated with a male prairie king and laid about 20 eggs on 29.04. Several went bad, but about 12 looks very fine and these are probably going to hatch soon I searched the web for pictures but haven't found any. I guess that because of similar patterns of parental species this cross wouldn't be as spectacular as sinacorns or junglecorns for example, but maybe somebody had done it, and has pictures, or at least could describe it.
I will be thankful for any info.

Several people have done this cross but for some reason there seems to be a very high mortality rate in the eggs and even in the hatchlings. This is a cross I am VERY interested in please post pics when they hatch.

Hi!

Well, the female corn laid about 30 eggs, wchich is a huge clutch. There were about 8-10 slugs, but this is normal for her. Another 7 eggs died in the first month of incubation. Now there is 11-12 eggs left, still not hatching, but these look very fine (except one, wchich started to dimple about 2 days ago). Actually these are much finer than most other eggs that hatched succesfully or this year's pure L. calligaster eggs that also are incubated by me I hope that these WILL hatch succesfully, this is the 67th day of their incubation after all, so it's about time...
