I have an un-related pair of these Hypo/Hogs. The female is absolutely the hardest Boa to take pics of. But this guy is quite the poser and I always take toooo many pics of him.

the blue head, and fantastic color he has.
I also know what you mean about some of them just posing, and some you NEVER can seem to get a decent shot of. I don't know which is worse... The "leavers" (they are leaving in a big fat hurry, all you ever have is a picture of the end of their tail),... the "clingers" (these cling on to what ever is around so tightly that they appear all contorted and deformed) or the "sticks"( you set them down and they immediately get strait and stiff as a stick). Oops, I almost forgot.... "Curious George", (the one that you only have pictures of the end of it's nose, because it is coming over to see.. "What you doing with that camera?"

GREAT shots of that boy !! Keep trying for a decent shot of the female for us. You have some gorgeous animals.

I am glad to see more posts with these in them. We produced some last year and we are really looking forward to see a few Sunsets. Looks like each year the crosses are getting clean and more color too.

I really like their soft colors. Its amazing how variable the Hypo Hogs can be. Here are a couple that were born here in 05 from a deep red hypo and a super light orange hog...
