help our turtle is sick!!!

help please we have a small turtle which seems to have a white bubble(growth coming out his shell near his hind legs. we coaxed him off his perch into the water and he sank he was not able to move his hind legs at all. he has been sitting on his perch with his head in the water drinking, but not eating. what should we do? any help would be great.

As was mentioned in the Red eared slider group. Your turtle may have prolapse which can be fatal if not treated. You need to get it to a qualified vet ASAP.

thank you we have taken skippy to a vet and she is treating him now. Hopefully skippy will come out okay the doc isn't to sure she said he will need a shot every other day for about 2 weeks, we have our fingers crossed. Thanks again for the response.
