Thank you all so very much for all of your advice!! The little guy is eating and drinking and he is going poo too!!! I raised the temps to 100(basking) and 85 ambient temp. Thank you. He was eating fruit flies (what a pain in the butt) but I was able to locate a pet store that carries pin head crickets regularly. I picked some up today and the litle guy was running all over to catch them. I could not be happier I brought him home to give him some TLC and get him a bit bigger so I could take him back to our pet store feeling confident that he would strive and make a happy healthy pet for someone. But, I am not so sure I want to do that.... How selfish is that!!???!??
I really want to buy him and keep him. He is just so sweet with his big head and tiny body. I am such a sucker for herp in need.
Thank you again!!!

get that basking temp just a little higher, it should be at least 105, i keep mine at 107-115, they need a gut temp of 103 to be able to digest their food properly. I think its great you want to keep him, and even if you dont you did a good job giving him a good start on life. Best of luck to you and the lil guy!

That's so good to hear. I'm glad the little guy is doing better. I know what you mean about wanting to keep him. I don't think I could nurse a dragon and then turn him over to someone else. These dragons are just so cool, and fun. Have you been able to find a bigger cage for him? If not and you have a rubbermaid that could work for a while, and would provide him some room to run. Glad he's eating now. Now comes the fun part, they eat a ton.

I have a 40 breeder, But I am afraid I will loose him in there... lol. I have a 10 gallon also. I have set that up until it is time to send him on his way....... or keep him, them on to the 40 breeder. His head is so big, so cute and big.

Thank you : )
