when i got my pacman he was a pretty brilliant green, now however he has become more brownish. he still has some greed in him but its definately much left. is it because of his brownish substrate or does it have to do with health problems?

*has some green in him, not greed. although he does eat everything in site
The bright green does become more of a dark green/brownish color as they become adults. They also develop more of a pattern/spots. I can't really say if the color of the subtrate determines the adult color but if it has any effect it would probably be minimal.
