She should be well muscled and girthy. She should "not" have scale seperation, unless she's pregnant or ovulating. Her skin should not "hang" on her body. She should be "solid". The weight of your boa isn't really important. What's important is "how she looks". She needs to look healthy. Now, I guess if you have a 9 foot female that weighs "under" 25 pounds or "over" 50 pounds,then weight matters. At the lower weight she could be malnorished. At the higher weight she could be obese.

Thanks! We recently got our girl, when she arrived she was floating around 25lbs, the guy was feeding her a large rat every 2 weeks (obviously not enough for her). We were hoping to get her back to her proper weight when i noticed she had an RI, then she wouldn't eat for about a month til we got it cleared up. Now we have her on a more frequent eating schedule, shes up to 28 lbs... Just wanted to know what weight we were shooting for to get her back to good health!
