ALBINO MOTLEYS.... amazing story

Jeremy Stone Jun 23, 2006 05:40 PM

First of All, this was a GOOD day. Many years of poss hets with NO luck, and finally. I'm a little late, but late is better then never. Congrats to C Nicholas, and Pete for producing some of these albino Motleys. I think the feeling was like producing super Mots. Anyway, here are some Albino Motleys from a Motley HET albino to a DH Striped Albino. All the Motleys seem to be the kind I like the most. They are HUGE. 95 grammers. Here is the Great story behind this Litter.

Six years ago in 2000, This female gave birth to 29 babies NO slugs. The father was a DH striped Albino, and she is a DH too. There were 7 Stripes 66 percent Het albino, and 22 Poss hets. The Father had proven to produce albinos before, so I thought the Mother was just a HET stripe, and NOT a DH. With 29 babies from HET to HET, you would think you would HIT. NOTTA. Soooooooooo, she was put on the back burner, as just a Normal in my opinion. 2 years ago, I bred her to an Albino just to see if I was Taken by the producer, and she gave me 5 Still Borns, and Slugs. One of the Still Borns was an Albino!!!!! I thought, Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Fluke????

Well, obviously, NO fluke. She IS a HET, and BOY did she make me proud today. She REALLY took care of me too, because the Motley count was on the Plus side of 50 percent. She really redeemed herself 6 years later. Patience is always required, and I think I'm pretty Patient. NOT!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great year. Mine is just getting started, and I have a feeling it is my Best year. I hope I didn't speak too soon. KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures. The next month is going to be a very busy one. Take Care, Jeremy Stone

Congrats on the albino motleys!!!

Amazing story about the Het female not producing any albinos...leads one to understand how so many unknown hets hit the common normal market! Andy
