Hey guys any idea how to feed my new jungle carpet shes not taking food atm but she enjoyed biting me twice lol. She has never even struck at me until today she seems really docile which I have heard is very rare for a jungle carpet

How long have you had her? Sometimes carpets need a little bit of time left alone to settle in before they will readily accept food.

yeah, i waited about a week before i feed mine. I gave mine a prekilled fuzzy mouse (as no one sells rats here ) I put my JCP in a diffrent container and jiggled the mouse infront of her (w/ tongs) and she took it. Mine's about a month old and yeah... she strikes out, but she's getting better.

My jungles don't bite too much, but I have noticed they are a bit more "clingy" then most pythons, very treepython like, My subadult female got wrapped around my wrists and did not want to let go, hence Kung FU grip lol, I would imagine other keepers of this python noticed similar behavior

Sorry its taken me so long to reply, I had her for about a week at the time of the post. This weekend will amke it about three weeks since I have got her. Since that weekend I have left her undisturbed and will try again this week end

Guess all she needed was sometime, she struck and ate today with a lot of vigor
