Today, I received my first clutch of simus from cbb babies I started since their birth in '03. This female is only about 17-20", but laid 14 eggs (13 visible in pic). 10-11 look good. This clutch was from an Agosta female and Enge male. Hopefully, I'll get some colorful lil babies.
My previous clutches of simus were from wc animals. I feel like a proud grandpa today because I can remember saving every nickel and dime in '03 (poor senior in college) to buy snakes that cost me $350 a pair (damn, that was a lot of money for me back then)!
Anyways, these guys have been babied since birth and have never eaten anything besides hairless mice and rats. They have been on unscented since 1 year old. They have been on nothing but newspaper and cell-sorb (both safe subsrates) and just found out what cypress was when it was time to lay eggs!
Here's to the 60 day countdown!
Here are the expensive lil omlets!
