Feeding schedule...

Kenjivalentine Aug 01, 2003 03:29 PM

Hi, i have a corn that i believe is 02', it's probably about 18" long. I'm feeding it 1 pinky a week. The snake doesn't seem thin, but feeds voraciously. Considering either feeding twice a week or feeding two pinkies once a week. Do you guys think that would be too much??

If you have an 18 inch snake, he should be eating much more then 1 pinky a week.Feed him at least 2 LARGE pinkies(rat maybe?).My sweetie is 24 inches and eats 2 med. size mice every 5 days.Go to the store and look at the fuzzies, think about getting these when you need to stock up.You will be surprised how big of food they can get down .

I agree. I have 03's that eat 2-3 medium pinkies a week. An 18" 02 should be eating 2 fuzzies a week at the minium (unless in shed)probably should be eating small mice, but I wouldn't jump up in sized all at once. Easy up in size.
