verry sad...one day i see them all jumping around on the rocks in a vacent lot next door...the next its all plowed over and now nothing exists but dirt

So utterly thoughtless at times!
That is very sad! Seems MAN does this quite often to the critters of the world. So much habitat gone , so many animals endangered. Thank God there are good people who are trying to help.
Even in our neighborhoods, so much building, some many stores going up all the time, I can not get through one day anymore without seeing a squished squirrel in the street or a ground hog at the side of the road in life-less hump.
