Corucia zebrata: current price

JeanP. Aug 01, 2003 04:13 PM

Crocman,

The current rate seems to be $200 /individual. A gravid female about $500 max. The highest I saw on WC adults was $750/individual last year. I thought that was crazy. Edward is correct. $2000 is way out of reality. That would have to be one impressive specimen. (Solid yellow or something). Look elsewhere or ask Justin. (I hope I'm not putting out raw meat for the Skink Forum to turn into the monitor forum again!-just a suggestion!)

To everyone.

Peace.

Jean

In regards to the guy selling the PTS pair for $2000, I think it's a situation where the seller doesn't really want to sell them but is willing to let them go for that price. I commonly encounter this sort of thing with hypo tangerine leopard geckos.

In response to your though on that high price- I will sell Gertie and her entire family for 20,000$-- no I changed my mind, make that 200,000$.

SOUTHERN FLORIDA CORUCIA RESEARCH CENTER (SFCRC)

Location: LEE/1.

Jessica,

The check is in the mail! I hear also your have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn. I'll pay your price! LOL! Also, I heard you take Monopoly money.

In my case, SERIOUSLY, I could be offered A billion dollars for the SFCRC Corucia and I would turn it down without hesitation.

I made a vow that that any Corucia finding sanctuary at the SFCRC would find their uprooting, transport days over. They would NEVER! be sold and could live out their lives in their Circulus in peace. Exception: Possible breeder's exchange in the distant future for genetic diversity.

Some day, I do want to try Mulberry's on the Corucia here. I will post you if that happens.

Take care,
Brian

Check out Chris's blue PTS below from several days back- Not sure if I would pay 2000 if I saw one, but I would be tempted! (no he's not selling it).
