DH Snow/BLizzard Project Results

JKBREPTILES Jun 25, 2006 05:28 PM

Here are the results this season from one of the females.

2001 DH-blizzard/snow boa female had her babies this afternoon at 1:30pm, We got 6 albino’s / 10 anerythristic / 3 possie DH and 1 really freakish looking boa, is it axanthic or possibly xanthic not to sure but it definately isn’t anerythristic. It’s very strange... I will get pics up soon.

John,

Congrats on the nice healthy litter. Those are awesome. I'm certainly puzzled about the Odds. I'm really surprised. This year I had 2 DH's go, and 1 was 13 babies, 2 albinos, and 7 anerys. The next was 19 babies, and No albinos, and 9 anerythristics, and some poss hets. So, if I don't hit on the last, it is off to the drawing board. There is a HUGE varience in the Anerys produced. Some resemble Columbians, and some CA's, so I'm assuming the Blizzard is also going to have some varying looks depending on the influence of the genes. The Still born I had looked more on the Columbian Side, and was patterned, so I'm confident it won't be like the Corn snake, and have a patternless snake. Anyway, enough on that. I guess when the Blizzard is produced and alive, it will be HIGH dollar (At least to me) considering how rare they are. I do LOVE the bloodlines. They seem to give birth to healthy litter, and do extreemley well.

Jeremy
