is it okay if a burmese skips a couple of meals?

because the previous owner told me it refuses to eat for like a month then it eats again .. is there any explanation for this kind of behavior

How big is ur burm? as long as it is a healty weight, they can easily go a month without eating, but it's the weight u need to watch, my burm(photo in link) eats his meals every week, he has refused b 4 but it was only 3 weeks. but my female ball python has went 4 months b 4 she finally broke her fast, i haven't heard about it so much as burmese's skipping then ball pythons skipping. and if u ever had any kind of expeirence wit a ball, belive me it is frustrating when they decide not to eat for a couple months.
