About a month ago I came here for help with a baby garter we found in a glue trap. We got most of the glue off but still couldn't get it all off. Last night he shed. ^_^ It came off in one piece (incluing all of the tail) which I thought was pretty cool for it to be coverd in glue. Lucky (my 6 year-old step sister named him that) is eating 2-3 earthworms a day and we're going to start him on pinky parts as soon as we find a pet store around here that sells them. So thanks with the help some of y'all provided.

Congratulations on the shedding and all of the success. I'm sure it looks a LOT better now and is much more mobile. Did you learn anything in the process that worked, didn't work, or might be of interest to the rest of us? Best wishes,

There were a few suggestions on here that people posted and we couldn't find the stuff in our small town to try.. so we just ended up picking off as much of the glue as we could with tweezers and then letting him crawl in very fine sand to stop him from sticking to everything
