This guy is just gorgeous!

I don't understand all the fuss about the crosses or integrades or whatever we should call them...but they are so beautiful! The suriname influence is spectacular! The Harlequin brings out the best of any animal it touches!

Hi Andy! there's no "suri" in there. The original B.c.c. that would technically be considered the "grandmother" was an animal that I believe to have originated from what are commonly refered to as "Northern Brazilian" stock. there are two phenotypically dissimilar forms most often seen,or offered...one type has a much higher percentage of red in the dorsal markings extending upward from the vent.the other has a very low percentage of red upwards from the vent. The former are often mistakenly sold as "Guyanans",this was the type I inadvertantly crossed years ago,I kept back two females, and never bred either one until 2004,(I bred her sister in 05 to an F1 Harlequin hypo, which is where your animal originated, from a litter of 10...I bred her to a het. Sharp male this year, and she gave me 15 perfect poss.hets,no slugs,or stills...she is 9 years old & can't be over 5.5 ft. in length!!!) anyway, that's the "skinny" on that little beauty,I have most of his siblings here, and they are strong awesome animals, and I'm very proud of them!
