for my 5? yr old female ball to eat and shed EVERY 2 weeks?? She dosn't even eat that much usually, but she is in better care now that we have had her for a couple of months, but that just seems very excessive shedding........but then again, we are very new to snakes so we are just learning.....

IMO I would say that the only thing to cause an adult to shed that much is that it is healing from a wound, my adult male almost 3 yrs old, has shed twice in five months, if i am wrong I will definately be corrected

I take in a lot of rescues, and they do shed more frequently when healing from scale rot or other dermal ailments, or lack of proper feeding.

normally healthy adults don't shed that often.

It might just be that she is feeding better with you; you didn't say how she was fed by the previous owner.

she should start to shed less frequently with time.
