New BRB Monday Pics

This is the lastest addition to my collection. I got this little guy from Bryan Hummel at www.rainbowboas.com. I love the colors on this snake! Very orange with nice peachy sides. He was a little upset when I pulled him out of his packaging and was striking at everything like little BRBs do. But later on that night I was able to hold him without him trying to grab on to me. He hasn't tried to bite since. He ate last night for the first time. He wouldn't take it out of my hand but he ate a fuzzy overnight. I left a hopper in with him the night before but he wouldn't have anything to do with it. Must have been too big? Thanks Bryan for great service and an awesome BRB.

Beautiful snake, congrats, It is my recommendation not to leave any rodent with teeth, in with any snake, overnight, the tables could be turned, especially on a neonate. Even if the snake isn't killed, it could be bitten several times leading to unnecessary infections. well unless the animals dead lol
Just mt 4 cents, once again congrats and it is a beauty!!!

Frank,

The hopper and fuzzie were both pre killed. I've read some horror stories about leaving live feeders in overnight so I feed my youngins thawed meat. Thanks, Jamie
