c. insularis help

mlove Jun 26, 2006 11:52 PM

Hi, does anyone have a male and/or female photo of c.insularis? A local petstore ordered collareds by that name and they have a trio. Two look the same and one has different coloring. I think the two darker ones may be females but the male is much lighter and does not have the dark brown patches under the collar and arms. I'm thinking they may be different types. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably just talking about what we call desert collareds or C. bicinctores, there are C. insularis also which look quite simular. They are very cool looking, and I'm sure you would like them.

As far as one being darker maybe he/she was not heated up??

Anymore characteristics you can recall from when you saw them?

The one seemed to be light brown tones and I think he had a very light aqua tint on some of his back and legs.

I sent you an email and attached a few photos of one of the collareds in question. I can't post my photos here because it said they are too large and I don't have the software to make them smaller Rats...
