Does anyone maintain and breed corns with out using heat tape? By just heating the room to say 85 during the day and dropping to 75 at night?

I keep all my snakes in one small room and keep the room at whatever temp seems right for the season. Right now it is on the warm side...80 plus or minus, depending on where you are in the room. My eggs are incubating at a mid-80's spot. I have kept corns at a room temp of around 72 and had them do fine. I think that if you can maintain a constant temp of at least 74-76 you are in pretty good shape. Corns are quite a bit more adaptable than some folks think. My snake room is in the basement, and in the winter I just turn the heat off for a couple of months and cool them off. This seems to be more than enough to cycle them up for breeding. Duffy
