My Echis sochureki gave birth to 17 live little beasties this morning!! She also had 2 slugs and one stillborn.
I noticed her restlessness yesterday evening but she did not give birth till 6:00 this morning. The mothers must hang around and protect the babies for a few days because she was looking for them after put her back in the cage. I had removed her for a "Head Count" and to clean up the mess.
