HI A.J.,

HOw big? 7 Feet for a nice mature animal, but a 6 foot breeder is perfectly fine.

My male just decided he prefers rat weanlings, so he's starting to put on some size again... a bit of an adulthood growth spurt.

As for the colors, I wish they maintained that color. They'd be the most sought after snake on the planet. They take on similar color to Eastern Indigos with white chins/throats. What doesn't change is the SHINE. They maintain the glossy shine throughout their lives.

Thanks for looking,

Doug T

Sound like beautiful snakes even as adults, how much would I look to spend to acquire a juvenile or adult?? and where would i have the best chance at locating one for sale??

Doug T Jun 30, 2006 01:07 AM

In about 10 days my answer will be YES to the pie'ds. Although anyone else interested could be working with them to.

They do look like ringnecks to start. But you know some of them came out of the egg having already lost most of their rings and most of the red on the belly, moving quickly into adult coloration.

I don't know if that means anything at all, but some were a lot more colorful when they came out. They all look like Mussuranas as adults.

Beautiful babies and I'm sure you are tickled to death to see them feed so well. I imagine it will be tough to let those go. Keep me posted.
