hi im planning on purchasing a b@w tegu soon i was wondering if i could house a baby in a 55 gallon aquriuam and how long can i house it in that i plan on putting in a 6 foot vision cage when its an adult also how fast do they grow? thanks shaun t

they grow kinda fast usually full size in under 2 years. a 55, i would say 6 months at the LONGEST. but dont waste your money on a vision cage. they are built for snakes. and way overpriced. you can build your own for half the price and get the exact size you want, and thehave no substrate dam.
