It could be a Colombian Rainbow (E.g. maurus). They are unicolored brown as adults. The body proportions and color seem about right, although it seems small to be solid brown (babies have patterns). I also don't see much iridescence, but that doesn't always show in a photo.

Without seeing the head, however, it could be some other brown snake. I wouldn't buy it without a better photo showing the head clearly.

I thought about that for a minute, but something doesn't look right for a Housesnake (and I have seen a lot of housesnakes). It is a little too heavy bodied posteriorly. Also the slender tapered neck isn't exactly right for a housesnake.

Again, a photo showing the head would clear everything up.

I agree with chris, without seeing the headshot kind of hard to tell. Looking at the tail taper and the overall proportions of the animal I was also thinking rubber boa.
