about what size/age can you expect to...

be able to determain sex of the gecko?

i ask size becasue i dont know how old they are.

not including tsil..they are about teh size of a grown mans pinky finger...almost double that if you include their tails

Usually by 6-9 months you can be certain of the sex of a crested gecko. I think weight wise, once they reach 20 or 25g they are sexable as well, though I could be wrong on the actual weight.

I have to agree 20-25 grams is when you can begin to be sure of the sex.

Sharper eyes than mine might be able to determine through the pre-anal pores at a earlier age. But for my money ild say thats right about 50% of the tme

I have been able to sex (not 100%) cresteds at 10 grams (with a 8x loupe). At least I can see the pores in males being developed. However, possible females (no pores at 10 g) can easily become males as they get older. What I am saying is that its not guaranteed but possible.

My smallest one is only about 12g & already showing a definitive bulge... He's about 4" SVL (did I get that acronym correct? I'm tryign to say snout to vent). My female is a good 20g , and only looked female recently (in the last 6 weeks or so)... are males sexable earlier?
