My son and I stopped at the Guadalupes Fri night, saw one female juv suboc and blacktail in cuts. Also DOR Atrox and blacktail.
Traveled to Iraan Sat and hunted cuts both east and west, nothing seen except for many headlights in rear mirror. Then drove south on FM 2886 checking cuts along the way.......nothing zero. Temps fell fast into the low 70's.
Sunday went to Boy Scout rd and found it the dryest I have ever seen it, not an animal was moving. Drove completely around the Davis's but to no avail, again no animals.
Decided to travel back to Guadalupe area, also found some nice cuts on road outside of Orla. Mon night temps fell to low to mid 60's. Only animal seen was the same blacktail seen on Fri night sitting in the same cut spot!! I was shocked to say the least especially considering the temps. No other animals seen.
