I'm sure other more experienced people on this forum could give you more advice but it is my understanding that some chondros do not like to be handled and others will tolerate gentle handling on occasion during the day. I think it depends on the individual chondro. Some start out with mild temperaments and can become aggressive and others start out aggressive and can become more tolerant of handling. You should read Greg Maxwell's book The More Complete Chondro.
