how much salt for my RES?

I would like to ask how much salt I should add to my Red Ear Slider aquarium,

you COULD add a small amount of aquarium salt but i don't think it will effect much of a change.
Some turtles are more prone to shell problems and salt sometimes helps a LITTLE.
but sliders don't really need this
besides you will be changing the water so often you will have to be testing salt levels.

i wouldn't use any.
