New A. perthensis pics - Anthill pythons

zach_whitman Jun 28, 2006 08:24 PM

Here is pics of a new juvi female, a sub adult female, and my new 05 male. The male at the bottom is soooo red. The problem is that they are also very irridescent, so when you photograph them they get a silvery washed out look. All are much more red then the pics suggest!

Wow! Talk about red. That thing is super red. I want some offspring from you in the future.
Thanks for posting,

Thanks! You have quite the collection yourself. I have to admit though, I was disapointed. On one of my many quests to find pygmys I was sure I had a jackpot when I found your site. You would love these guys.

Yeah, I have been meaning to get some ever since I saw Casey Laziks. Just too many things in front of them on my wish list. Let me know when you have some offspring.
Thanks,
Justin

Nice little 1.2 group of future breeders! I love snakes of the genus Antaresia. Where'd you get 'em? I don't see them for sale out here in SoCal.

The ones pictured came from Don Patterson in canada and Matt Ozvath of Lizards of Oz in maryland. Both are great guys to do buisness with, although unfortunately I don't think either of them are going to continue producing perthensis.
