I use several types, but they all have a couple of things in common. They have a round spout on top with a removable directional grille. The spout opening will take 2" pvc pipe. I put together sections of pvc pipe OR a length of flexible hose that lets me aim the fog through an opening in the cage side near the top, and some go into the cage from the top. The main thing is that the fog can pour down into the cage. The humidifiers are all ultrasonic, not evaporative. Don't use a humidifier that creates steam (a vaporizer) as it will be hot. The so-called "cool mist" type is fine. Use RO filtered or de-ionized water in the reservoir to keep the mechanism cleaner longer. Occasionally take the pipe/hose apart and clean it with a 10/1 solution of water to bleach.
Thanks!
I appreciate the help.
