This being only my second season breeding Ball Pythons and having produced just my fourth clutch ever, I think it is pretty easy to see why I am so excited about this clutch. Ever since I saw the Pewter Pastel’s at Daytona the first year that Greg Graziani produced them they have been one of my all time favorites. To actually produce them is an incredible feeling.

This year I bred my Graziani Line Cinnamon Pastel Male to a 2200 gram Female Graziani Line Pastel. The clutch contained ten eggs. I got two Pewter’s, Four Cinnamons, three Pastels, and one normal. That means the Male produced six Cinnamons out of a clutch of ten. That is if you consider the Pewter’s to be Cinnamons, (which I do). Last year the same Male bred one normal Female and I got six eggs. Four of them were Cinnamons and two were Normal’s. He really likes to throw his genes around. LOL

I got an even split on the sex ratio with the Pewter’s, one Male and one Female. That is exactly what I wanted. With the Cinnamons I got another even split. The Pastel’s gave me two Males and one Female, and the Normal was a little Female. All in all a very nice well rounded clutch.

Well enough about the breeding that produced them, lets get to some pictures.

The first three pictures are of PEWTPAST06-1. This one is the little Female.

The next three pictures are of PEWTPAST06-2. This one is the little Male.

I was so excited about the Pewter’s I never got around to photographing the others until about three days after they had hatched. This little Female CINPAST06-1 went in to a shed mode before I could get a just born picture of her. LOL

This one CINPAST06-2 is a little Male.

This one CINPAST06-3 is also little Male.

This one CINPAST06-4 is another Female.

The next three pictures are of the Pastel’s. The first one PAST06-1 is a little Male

This one PAST06-2 is a little Female

This Last one PAST06-3 is another little Male.

This last picture is of the Normal Female. I know that doesn’t sound very exciting but to me it is. I have produced thousands of Leopard Geckos in the years I have been in business and I still get excitement every time a new one hatches. I don’t see any reason it will ever change with the Ball Pythons. If I ever get jaded from hatching out something this cool it will be time for me to quit doing it. LOL

As an added bonus here are pictures of the two Pewter’s the day they came out of the eggs. They have been washed and sexed but that’s about it. I just had to have a few pictures of them to look at. Other wise I would have been bothering them every ten minutes just to check them out. Oh Yea!

I hope you enjoy the pictures,
Albey

Balls are awesome, but I have to admit I check out your site regularly and really have some urge to get back into leopards.
