Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello and share some pics of my Hog Island Boa. He will be one year old in August.

In addition to this little cutie, I also keep tarantulas and scorpions:

Enjoy!

that likes snakes and arachnids, I have been keeping emperor scorpions for the last several (5) years, I have bred them on several occasions, obviously not for monetary gain LOL, I have sold them along with snakes for 5 dollars a piece , I have a colony of 15 emperors, very interesting to keep and breed, I even wrote a small web-page (which I no longer update) several years ago. BTW, I assume you are a woman by your hands and fingernails. Once again welcome, beautiful boa!!!!

That is a great page you have there! You should definitely check out the Venom List. There are some great folks on there who are crazy about the scorps. Right now I keep Malaysian Blues and Striped Scorps. It is a pretty addictive hobby, much like boas. I only have the one boa right now, but I would love to pick up a Bolivian Amarali eventually. Take care!
Once you get the boa bite, you most likely will get another, I dont have too many boas

Thanks for the compliment on my page.
See you around and please post some updated pics as your snake grows
Take care as well

but like some others..the spiders aren't my think. Although I can look at them in pics or if they are at a show in some type of container..I just couldn't ever handle one without freaking out!! To each his own, I know alot of people who feel the same way about snakes...Beautiful pictures though!
