Okay, lets see. I have 3 Beardies, 2 supposebly trying to go into semi brumation (the oldest male and the oldest female.) The female is 16 months old, weighs 300g,17 inches long and is trying to go into a semi brumation. I am thinking of breeding her after this artificial brumation, but i want her to gain a more weight. The small female is 195 g and about 7 months old and about 15 1/2 inches. She is tottally immune to this brumation thing lol, shes on the same timing too, 8 hrs a day, lol. Welllll back to the point: My male, last time i checked, was 19 inches long, 505 g, and healthy, besides the coccidia, which i gave ditrim injection for around the beginning of July. He recovered and was parasite free, but now hes really lazy, usually stays at the bottom, trying to bask, never sleeping. Kinda stays in the same spot looking bored. Some days he is full out basking, others not. He was eating crickets readily (not as much as usual, because of semi-brumation i geuss) but the past few days he ignores crickets when offered, and also ignores greens and his favorite fruits. I took him outside, had him with me for a few hours, then back in the cage he went. He refused everything, so for the first time in a few months a gave him a bunch of superworms (used strictly as my treats and a ackup staple until more crix come) well he loved those, but only ate so many, then looked sad again. Its like, aww poor guy. Im thinking of ordering more hornworms, roaches, and silkworms from mulberryfarms again, he used to have them until he moved to his big cage and ants got the last stock of silks, wow that was a sucky day. hasnt had em since. Well, is there any way to spice up his life, make him perky again, make his gut come back (what...i miss it!!!! )lol, unless, is this his "brumatrion stage"? he isny really sleeping, so im not sure. Kinda confused. Or im just an idiot. Well, thanks!

Minerall, Rep_cal Ultafine calcium with d3 and regular with D3... good choices, but the diet Dr Pepper has to go if I visit

Okay, back to being serious...... did you give them any probiotics with the coccidia treatment? If not, try that and they should start eating on their own again when their tummies let them know they are hungry.

The treatments kills off the good bacteria in the digestive system that activates the digestive juices and tells them they are hungry, without it, they don't realize they are and so don't eat.

and the milk base products should only be used in an emergency for a very short time. Dragons livers can not process the fat and it stores it, in the liver, which interfers with the funtioning of the liver.

MY first recommendation is AcidophiLIZ by Pet Authority available in some PetSmarts

next Nature's Bounty in a health food store in liquid capsules, or Jarrow products Lactose free acidophilis
