Holy smokes B22 that is a pretty strange thing to pop up. Hehe looks to be a translucent chin dragon I have yet to hatch anything really strange like that. I mean nothing is deformed or looks to be the cause of that discoloration. Just a perfectly healthy looking clear chin dragon Clear chin dragon makes me laugh, lets call him the joker faced beardie for now. Keep us updated on him B22, I'd keep him for the hell of it, and try to get yourself a het trans maybe. I mean it could totally be a fluke, but who knows.

Does anyone know how the translucent gene was discovered? It would be really neat to know the history behind them, and how the first breedings went down.

HaHaHa! I nearly fell off my seat when I read the e-mail you sent to me. It looks like those trans veiled chameleons that was for sale a while back. Those things had patches of trans all over their bodies. I would definately keep it, and see if it's genetic. The trans dragons origionally came from germany so I wouldn't be surprised if the gene is floating around. Although it looks different than any trans dragon I have ever seen. Usually they have more trans than that. Pretty cool! Josh
