For Zee or Hillson...

agalinis Jun 30, 2006 12:25 AM

Shi#, it's been a least 4 months since I've been on here! That's what happens when you've got a new job and trying to settle into a new area.

I hear you're overseas Zee...best of luck man; wanted to check in and see how Bonkers (do you have her yet Keith?), the big GA Boy and the rest of my crew that I had to sell are doing?

I'm still down to just two kings from like 16 two years ago...a strange adjustment after so many years. Zee, I have snagged a couple of Easterns from south of Brunswick...there is still room to find them if you know where to look. With my landlord now all I can do is catch and release, but in a few months I'll be in a house and can do what the hell I want again.

We did snag a gorgeous Eastern Hognose in the field today...just don't see them that much and the site's going to be developed so he came home with my boss. If he doesn't keep him I will. Probably my favorite native snake outside of Lampropeltis.

Keith, if you still have my agalinisman@.... email I'd appreciate it if you could shoot me something about where Zee's at and all that jazz. I've been out of the loop with the job and such.

Take it easy and peace to everyone on the forum!

Hey John. . . What's up man!
All the animals are doing great! I still have Bonkers - she's due to lay her eggs in about a week or so. All the other big kings are still eating good! I found some nice easterns here in NC. this year. Funny thing is, they were all adult females - not a single male. So weird, when usually all I find is primarily males. Have to agree with you those easterns hogs are really nice snakes too. Found one last year that was black with orange bands! Check the MIDDLE pic of three hoggies from the sandhillsthe other two pics are of some of the adult female easterns I found this year near my house - the first is a female almost 4.5' the other is a 3.5' female)
