nesting and eggs

pelcman Jun 30, 2006 06:41 PM

I have an american alligator and a dwarf crocodile that have both revently built nests and have been gaurding them for about the past week and a half. (both are in different exhibits and are of age with a male) My question is what is the approximate time from nest building to egg laying? Or how can I tell if they have laid or not yet? So I know when I have to go collect them.
Thanks
