Let the snake crawl under a hidebox.
Give the snake a minute or two to get comfy.
Prepare yourself and your camera for the picture.
Lift the hidebox and snap away before the snake realizes what's going on. 
I've used this technique hundreds of time for corns, pituophis, Indigos, balls, etc.

I was gonna say the same thing. Or you can use your hands or like a shirt too. Ive used all three methods with success. Or if you want louis just send them to me and ill get some nice pics for you heheh!
