My dumeril spends almost all his time burried in his shavings and rarley goes in his hide. I know this is completely normal, but I wanted to know if it even nessecary to have a hide for him?

if you spend all your time in the living room watching tv then you may not necessarily need a bedroom but it is something nice to have on occasion.
