a few questions about eating

jrmjjj Aug 01, 2003 09:07 PM

I just got a new very young female albino leopard gecko and it seems to me that it might have problems with eating . When I gave it a worm it seemed to be interested in eating it but when it tried it missed , could this be because it is young or just has bad eye sight . Then I tried feeding it a little bit later but all it did was lick the worm a few times and then leave . Should I be concerned with any of this behavior .

Just got? If you just got her, give her time to acclimate to her new situation and habitat. She may not eat for several days while she adjusts to her home. Juvenile leo's generally can miss alot.. experience perfects their technique.. sometimes *L*
