Okay, I dont think Abbie is going to make it. She will not take the syringed formulas and she just lays around. Her skin is starting to sag and because of her size she has never gotten a tail to live on. I hate seeing her like this, but I dont think there is anything at this point I can do for her. What should I do now???

If there is absolutely no way that she is going to make it, then the humane thing to do would be to place her in the freezer. He body temp will drop rapidly and she will just go to sleep.

Sorry to hear the bad news,

I had one like that...I fought for 4 months trying to get her to eat but she just kept getting worse. She was a baby I bought from PetCo and the only one that has ever died in my care. I still feel horrible but I know I did everything I could have...Sometimes, they just don't thrive and it's not your fault. I'm sorry.

First off let me start by saying I'm very sorry, you must feel awful, but dont. Sometimes no matter how hard you try they just dont pull through, and you should find comfort in knowing you did the best you could, and now that you cant help no longer, your doing the animal another favor by ending the pain. The best way humanely end the suffering is to take her to the vet to get put down. This way, they just fall asleep and dont wake up. Not painful at all. Its alot more humane than just putting her in the freezer to freeze to death IMO. Most vets do it for free, or very little cost. Later,
Mac

I just recently lost my Bearded Dragon. He had eaten some of that Coco-Bark substrate, he was vary badly impacted, became lethargic, and was too weak to operate on.. poor little guy was soo young, he was turing 1 year old this august. I miss him ... He was a lovely dragon. I ended up having him put down, it was the most humain thing to do... I'm so sorry... just remember, it is going on to another place where the pain is gone...

Have you ever taken her to the vet or gotten a fecal or anything? I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with just putting her down unless you have ruled out treatable infection. Take her to a vet, and he can instruct you in proper technique for safer force feeding if need be, and hopefully diagnose any illness. She may be dehydrated and need a fluid shot as well.
