Frozen mice feeding

buslady Jul 02, 2006 12:31 PM

Okay I have a baby python, I want to get him on defrosted fuzzies.
What is a good way to do this?

My previous ball ate like a pig from day one, so I never worried with her; I've tried to offer this guy a defrosted fuzzie but he ignored it. I warmed it and wiggled it making it look alive but he wanted nothing of it.

Try is placing the snake and prey item in a paper bag in the enclosure over night. This will usually work. If not...hold off feeding for a couple of weeks and then try again when it is hungry. Make sure that when you defrost the rodent to warm it up to its natural temps. Also mine are picky and like to have them dried off.

God luck to you,
Dathan
