Final Product

kjanda Jul 02, 2006 12:54 PM

Well, after about 6 weeks of labor we have a finished product. After last years "blunder" with (2) cages that I built and to this day have not stopped "offgasing" (spelling??) we took this project quite slow and deliberate. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Some highlights are, heat is controlled by a combination of Ranco T-states, a Watlow 988 temperature controller, and a Johnson Controls standard t-stat; we have 4 red lights for heat and 3 day lights. All walls, ceiling, and framework is coverd and sealed by linoleum. 8' X 4' footprint, double stacked with small "tables" we built to access lighting etc. Fronts are grooved sliding plexi.

Thanks for the posting the pictures. I hope these work out for you.

Fronts are grooved sliding plexi.

Is this secure enough for large constrictors?
