introducing another female

breen7 May 19, 2003 11:04 PM

(asked this before but didn't get a responce so here it is again)

if you have one female crested gecko in a tank and introduce another female later (of roughly the same size) will there be a problem or do they have to be brought into a tank at the same time to be able to get along?

Females are very tolerant of each other. Just watch and listen for any signs of aggression. Don't remove them at the fisrt sign of a problem either. There may or may not be an adjustment period. Make sure both females have hiding places to retreat to.
good luck
