Great news Zee!!

I see Mr. BlueKing has pulled it off! You got that crazy as# Bonkers to settle down long enough to produce eggs (maybe that's what she needed LOL). Glad to hear it.

Nice Easterns and Hoggies there! Zee, you need to open up a Kingsnake Farm at your house...you'd have one hell of a collection to show folks.

I look forward to one of those hatches...male or female. She was a big hatch and a large female at 4 years so she should produce some nice color and size with her offspring. Her banding was bright, brick red for at least 15 months. Did you cross her with any Eastern I know? I asked Keith to send you my email address so we can keep in touch. I forgot to change all my email addresses when I moved back to Jax in December!

Have a good 4th!

P.S. I'm half Frog, so if the French and Germans make it to the finals in the World Cup, how 'bout a little bet?!! LOL

Hi there John!
Bonkers hasn't layed yet, but should do so in a matter of days. She, and that big six foot Darien male ("Georgia Boy" locked up several times back in April. She just shed a few days ago - so I'm waiting to see. I'll keep you posted!
Yeah, I guess I could set up a mainly "Eastern kingsnake" farm with all them Easterns I got, lol!
I'm pulling for the Germans (most of my relatives including me are German) in this world cup, since my No.1 team (the US) didn't make it. Here's a pic of "Georgia boy":

Take care man!

Has she locked up anymore later than April ? Seems a long way out to be laying eggs in July. My GA female laid eggs on May 6th and then again in June. Just seems the gestation period is a bit long. Maybe some go longer ???

I know it's been a bit long, so if it doesn't happen this week. . . then I know something isn't right with the female or male (maybe). . . The conditions in their room have been perfect (other kings & all my corns have laid)

Nice pic of that GA Boy...hated to part with him because he's such a hog, but he's got a good home!

This would be Bonkers first time to lock up with a male so I hope all goes well. I took her to a herp vet once to have them all sexed - to be sure before I sold any - and she bled a bit when he sexed her. But he said it was nothing and that her reproductive organs were just fine and that he was impressed with her size for her age. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

My grandparents are French so I was rooting for the Frogs - I love Zinedine Zidane; everyone thought he was washed up and too old at 34! Chalk one up for the older guys!!!

The Italy-Germany game was great to watch. I think if the Germans had pressed in harder in the second OT it may have gone to penalty kicks. I was watching and when Grosso nailed that kick with like 2 minutes left I was like "wow, what a game!" The refs. actually let the players play this match. I'm surprised that Germany lost though.

Hope everything works out!

Germany lost , that sucks, so I guess I'll have to go with France . . . . Ain't no Italien blood here (But I do have a lil' French blood in me - my father is half french)
