my new vanilla male. He is an 04 male produced by Gulf Coast Reptiles. This male makes me sooooo excited everytime I look at him. Let me know what you all think about him. I will also post some pics I took of my citrus ghost male. Both sets of pics were taken outside with the sun behind clouds so there is not much of a wash of colors or distortion of the true colors of both snakes.

Is the stripe genetic on the male? Do you know how either parent looks? He's INCREDIBLE! Congrats!

Thanks for the compliments on the vanilla. As for the story behind him all I can say is that the entire clutch came out striped just like this male or better. With that said the clutch was incubated with several other clutches and there was no other clutches that had the striping so it wasn't caused by a temp fluctuation. Anyone that follows what GCR produces knows they have several lines of snakes that constantly produces co-dom style stripes and this stripe looks even better than some of their others they have produced. Good things are going to come from this morph that will just blow everyone's mind, I'm glad we bought into it before the "cat" is out of the bag. WATCH OUT EVERYONE, the vanilla/super vanilla is going to be a huge player in the years to come. And for those that say this morph looks barely different than normal, look at this male, he's stunning.
