Females can be sexually mature in about ten months. Sexually mature does necessarily mean ready to breed. Before breeding, your females should be at least 60 grams, or if they are under 60 grams (not all females will get this large) they should be at least 18 months old. This way, their growth won't be stunted or their longterm health compromised by premature breeding.
